I Thought I Was Dreaming

i said yes to a kiss
   20 shots of vodka
   i was intoxicated
   you ripped my tights
   i couldn't stop you
   i thought was dreaming

   i couldn't four words
   you took control
   i had none
   it felt good
   i was confused
   i thought i was dreaming

   you got frustrated
   you started to hurt me
   i couldn't comprehend
   the world was spinning
   i thought i was dreaming

   you gloated the next morning
   i puked in the shower
you sang all the way home
i couldn't stand to be touched

   i thought i was dreaming

"Untitled"

I consider this to be a study in how wood could be sewn into fabric. I experimented with different shapes seeing which ones fit best. I wanted the viewer to be confused as to what was in the fabric, and for them to have to up close to figure it out.

Batik

This work was a experiment in batik, adding wax to resist dyes. I was playing with the idea of "wearable" work. The Ideas was that this piece could go from a wall hanging to a functional, durable object.
